Regional Online Consultation on Gender Equality in Latin America and the Caribbean: Gender Equality in the Future We Want

rWhen and Where?
April 8th to 22nd atthe “World we Want” Platform.

What?
As part of the consultation process for the post 2015 agenda, this consultation is intended as a regional forum for various stakeholders to share and exchange their views on how the next development agenda should include gender equality as a priority.

What do we expect?
The results of this exchange between different actors will contribute to the process of inclusion of more diverse voices in the consultation processes and to strengthening the positioning of gender equality in national consultations and reports prepared by the UN system itself.

How?
The consultation will be held simultaneously in Spanish and English. The debate will be generated through several questions on specific issues and adopt a prioritization process so that the inputs collected can be strategically presented to influence decision makers at the highest levels in the post 2015 agenda setting process.
